A Message from Our Mayor
Dear Neighbor,
We are excited to bring you another great season of recreational programs! Our
dedicated staff has been working tirelessly these past few months to bring you and your
family another fun packed lineup of fantastic activities and events!
Look through this guide and you may be surprised! There is something for
everyone. Our annual pool program will return this summer for its 62nd year! Camp
Barrett, another Valley Stream fixture, is returning. Back by popular demand will be the
Classic Car Shows on Rockaway Avenue along with the Summer Concert Series! Even our
Pickleball Courts are seeing a lot of use already!
The staff of the Village of Valley Stream work very hard and it is our pleasure to
provide you and your family with fun, innovative and safe summer recreation programs.
On behalf of the Village Board & Village Justice, we look forward to seeing you around
our Village this summer! Summer of 2024 promises to be filled with good times and
great memories in Valley Stream.
